Heya friend,

Given that

Length = 18 m

= 1,800cm

Breadth = 15 m

= 1,500 cm

Solution

Area of a rectangle = l × b

= 1,800 × 1,500

= 27,00,000 cm^2

Number of square tiles required to be fitted on the floor of the hall = 25 × 27,00,000

= 6,75,00,000

Thanks

With regards@

Length of hall=18 m
Breadth of hall=15 m
Square tiles of 25 cm
So first we will convert meter into centimeter as the measure of square tiles are in centimeter.
(1 m = 100 cm)
Therefore length 18 m = 1800 cm and breadth 15 m = 1500
So now we will find area of hall which is in rectangle shape.
Area of rectangle=length×breadth
=1800×1500
=2700000
Area of hall =2700000
So now we will find area of square tiles which side is 25 cm
Area of square=side × side or side2
=25×25
=625 cm
Area of square tiles is 625 cm
Now tiles required to be fitted on the hall
=Area of hall ÷ Area of square tiles
=2700000÷625
=4320
So 4320 tiles are required to be fitted on the floor of the hall.

Hope it helps you.
