The height of the hall is 7.2 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

 Given :

Dimensions of the hall are:

Length of the hall = 18m

Width of the hall = 12m

A.T.Q

Area of the floor and the flat roof = Sum of the areas of four walls ………(1)

Area of the floor and the flat roof = lb + lb = 2lb

= 2 x 18 x 12

Area of the floor and the flat roof  = 432 m²

Sum of the areas of four walls = 2(l + b) h

= 2(18 + 12)h

= (2 × 30)h

= 60 h

Put this value in eq 1

Area of the floor and the flat roof = Sum of the areas of four walls

432 = 60h

h = 632/60

h = 7.2 m

Hence, the height of the hall is 7.2 m.
