Let's assume the breadth as x

So, the length as 4x

According to Question,

Given : Perimeter of rectangle = 240m

2(4x + x) = 240

=> 5x = 240 / 2 = 120

=> x = 120 / 5

=> x = 24

Required Measurements -

Breadth = x = 24 m

Length = 4x = 4(24) = 96 m

Hence, the length and breadth of the given rectangle is 96 meters and 24 meters respectively

let, breadth be x

so, length will be 4x

perimeter of rectangle = 2(L+B)

240 = 2(4x+x)

240 = 10x

x = 24

breadth = x = 24 m

length = 4x = 96 m
