let the length of AX and BX be
9x and 10x respectively
9x + 10x = 38cm \\ 19x =38cm \\ x =  \frac{38}{19} = 2
9x = 9 \times 2 = 18cm \\ 10x = 10 \times 2 = 20vm
to check it add 18cm and 20cm you will get the answer 38cm
Therefore AX=18cm
and BX =20cm
