radius = 8.4 cm

the area swept half an hour
= area of semicircular

area \: of \: semicircle \:  =  \:  \frac{\pi {r}^{2} }{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{22 \times 8.4 \times 8.4}{7 \times 2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{1552.32}{14}  \\  \\  = 110.88 {cm}^{2}  \\  \\
