the length of a pole is 11/2.1/3rd of the pole is painted red,1/4th of it is painted green;the remaining portion is painted blue.find the length of the portion painted in blue

Pole length =  \frac{11}{2}
Pole painted red =  \frac{1}{3}
Pole painted green =  \frac{1}{4}
Therefore,
Pole blue =  \frac{11}{2}  \frac{1}{3}  \frac{1}{4}
              =  \frac{66}{12}  \frac{4}{12}  \frac{3}{4}
              =  \frac{66-4-3}{12}
              =  \frac{59}{12}
