let the length of rectangle be 2x

and the width of rectangle be x

we know that perimeter of rectangle is 2(length + width)

60=2(2x+x)

60= 6x

60/6=x

10=x

length is 2x i.e 2×10=20 cm

width is x i.e 10 cm

Answer:

here your answer.............

length of rectangle be 2x

then breadth is x

we know that

perimeter of rectangle

2[ l + b ]

According to question

2[ 2x + x ] = 60

2 × 3x = 60

6x = 60

x = 60/6

x = 10

therefore

length 2x = 2 × 10 = 20 cm

breadth x = 10cm.
