let breadth be x

and let length be  x+2

  perimeter = 28

A.T.Q

 2[x+x+2] =28

2[2x+2] =28

2x+2 =14

2x =12

x=6    which implies that breadth = 6 and length = 6+2 = 8

Answer:

let breadth be x

breadth =x cm

length = x+2 cm

Perimeter =2×l+b

16 = 2× (x+x+2)

16÷2=2x-2

8+2 = 2 x

10 = 2x

So x = 5

length = 5+2= 7 cm
