the length of a rectangle exceeds its breadth by 5 cm if the length is decreased by 1 centimetre and the breadth is increased by 3 cm then the area of the rectangle increased by 32 CM square find the dimensions of the region rectangle​

Let breadth of rectangle=b

Length=b+5

Area=b(b+5)

Now,

L=b+5-1=b+4

B=b+3

New area =b(b+5) +32

(b+4)(b+3)=b^2 +5b +32

b^2 +7b +12=b^2 +5b +32

2b=20

b=10

l=15
