x-y = 9 --------(1)
Also,
Length = (x+3) m
Breadth = (y+3) m

xy+3x+3y+9 = xy+84
3x+3y = 84-9
3x+3y = 75
3(x+y) = 75
x+y = 75/3
x+y = 25 ----------(2)
Add equations (1) and (2)
x - y = 9
x + y = 25

2x + 0 = 34
2x = 34
x = 17
Put x in equation (1)
x - y = 9
17 - y = 9
-y = 9 - 17
-y = - 8
y = 8
