Answer:

Let the breadth be x.

And length be x+2

2(x+2+x)=28

2(2x+2)=28

4x+4=28

4x. =28-4

4x. =24

x=24/4=6 ans

Breadth=6 cm

length=6+2= 8 cm ans.

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

Let the breadth be x , then the length will be 2x + 2 .

As we know that

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( l + b )

➮ 2(2x + 2 + x)

➮ 2(3x + 2)

➮ 6x + 4 = 28

➮ 6x = 24

➮ x = 4

Now , finding length & breadth

Breadth = x = 4cm

Length = 2x + 2 = 10cm

Hence , length = 4 cm & breadth = 10 cm .
