Let the breadth = x units

Then,

According to statement Length = x+3 units

Perimeter :

= 2(Length+Breadth)

= 2 (x+x+3)

=> 2(2x+3)

=> 4x+6 units

hi there buddy!!!

Solution:

here,

=> let the breadth of a rectangle be x units.

hence,

the length would be= 2x+3 units

now,

we know

the perimeter of an rectangle=

2( length+ breadth)

hence,

=2( 2x+3+x)

= 2( 3x+3)

= 6x+6

hence,

perimeter= 6x+6 units.

hope this helps!!
