The length of a rectangle is 1/3 of its breadth . if the perimeter is 64m, then find the length and breadth of the rectangle ​

let, breadth = 3x

then, length = x

perimeter of rectangle 2(l+b)

=2(3x+x) = 64

= 8x = 64

=x =64/8 = 8m.

length = 8m.

breadth = 8×3 =24m.
