The length of a rectangle is 1 . 6 metres and it's breath is 75 cm. Find the area of the rectangle.

Given: Length = 1.6m = 160cm
             Breadth = 75cm

Area of rectangle = length * breadth
                            = 160 * 75
                            = 12000 cm ²

Solution:-

Length = L = 1.6m = 160 cm

Breadth = B = 75 cm

we know the formula for

area of rectangle

=> Area of rectangle = L× B

=> Area of rectangle = 160 × 75

=> Area of rectangle = 12000 cm.

Hence area of rectangle is 12000 cm.
