Answer

THE AREA OF THE RECTANGLE IS 1040 CM²

Step-by-step explanation:

LET THE BREADTH OF THE RECTANGLE IS X

THEREFORE , THE LENGTH OF THE RECTANGLE IS 4X+1

THE PERIMETER OF RECTANGLE = 162 CM

THE PERIMETER OF RECTANGLE = 2(L+B)

THEREFORE , 2(4X+1+X)=162

=2(4X+X+1)=162

=2(5X+1)=162

=10X+2=162

= 10X=162-2

10X=160

X=160/10

X=16(BREADTH)

LENGTH=4X+1 = 4(16)+1 = 64+1 = 65

AREA OF RECTANGLE = L*B

=65*16

1040 CM²

THEREFORE , AREA OF RECTANGLE IS 1040 CM²
