Let,

Breadth (b) = x cm

Length (l) = 2x+1 cm [1 cm more than twice its breadth]

Perimeter (P) = 50 cm

We know,

\boxed{\bold{\sf{Perimeter \ of \ a \ rectangle=2(l+b)}}}

Applying values to the equation:

\sf{\implies 50=2\{(2x+1)+x\}}

\sf{\implies 50=4x+2+2x }

\sf{\implies 50=6x+2}

\sf{\implies 6x=50-2}

\sf{\implies 6x=48}

\sf{\implies x=\dfrac{48}{6}}

\sf{\implies x=8 \ cm}

\boxed{\sf{\therefore \ Breadth \ (b)=8 \ cm}}

We know here 2x+1 is the length:

\sf{\implies l=2x+1}

\sf{\implies l=(2\times8)+1}

\sf{\implies l=16+1}

\sf{\implies l=17 \ cm}

\boxed{\sf{\therefore \ Length \ (l)=17 \ cm}}

\huge{\boxed{\bold{\sf{\therefore \ Length=17 \ cm}}}}
