legth -width=1

length =x

width=x-1

x(x-1)

x^2-x area 1st

if

x+2 and x-1-6

area =x+2(x-7)

x^2 -7x+2x-14

x^2-5x-14 area 2nd

said in question

1st area -2nd area = 50

x^2-x-x^2+5x+14=50

4x=36

x=9m

Therefore length of the rectangle is 9 m and width is 8 m.

Hope this helps u
