Let the width of the Rect be x m.
Therefore, Length of Rect = x + 10 m.
Now,
Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(l + b)
=> 120 = 2(x + 10 + x)
=> 2x + 10 = 60
=> 2x = 50
=> x = 25 m.
Hence, length of Rect = 25 + 10
=> length of rectangle = 35 m.
And Breadth of Rectangle = 25 m.

Hope it helps u........

Heya ☺

Given that

Perimeter of a rectangle = 10 m

Length = ?

Breadth = ?

Solution

Let the breadth of a rectangle be (x) cm. Then,

it's length = (x + 10) cm

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b)

120 = 2(x + 10 + x)

=> 120 = 2(2x + 10)

=> 120 = 4x + 20

=> 120 - 20 = 4x

=> 100 = 4x

=> x = 100/4

=> x = 25

Hence , breadth = 25 cm

and length = (25 + 10) cm = 35 cm.

So , the dimensions of the rectangle is 25 cm and 35 cm.
