let length of rectangle is x and width is y
according to question
x=2y+12
now area of rectangle=length x width
320 =x.y
put x=2y+12
320=(2y+12)(y)
=> y^2+6y-160=0
solve this by using question formula
i.e y={-6+_root (36+640)}/2= 10, -16
but y=-16 is not possible
hence y=10
and x=2y+12=32

ASSUME THAT W=X,L=2(W)+12
     AREA=320   BUT AREA =2(L+W)
  2(X+2*X+12)=320
2X+4X+24=320
6X+24=320
6X=320-24
6X=296
X=296/6=49.33333
Expression: 24+4w
Dimensions: l=160 w=74
DIMENSIONS ARE 160 AND 74 AS X AND Y
