the length of a rectangle is 14metre more than it's breadth . If the perimeter is 448metre . Find the dimensions of the rectangle ?

Given: Perimeter = 448m
& length l = (14 + b)m
Let breadth be b...

Therefore, 2(l+b) = 448
=> 2(14 +b+b) = 448
=> 2(14 + 2b) = 448
=> 28 + 4b = 448
=> 4b = 420
=> b = 105

Breadth = 105m & Length = 14+105 = 119m
