Answer :-

  • Dimensions of the rectangle are 45cm and 30cm.

Given :-

  • The length of a rectangle is 15 cm more than its width and it's perimeter is 150 cm.

To Find :-

  • Dimensions of the rectangle.

Solution :-

Let

  • Width of the rectangle be x
  • Length of the rectangle = x + 15

Here

  • Perimeter of the rectangle = 150cm

As we know that

Perimeter of a rectangle is

2 (l + b)

Where

  • l = length
  • b = breadth

According to question :-

⇒ 2 (x + x + 15) = 150

⇒ 2 (2x + 15) = 150

⇒ 2x + 15 = 150/2

⇒ 2x + 15 = 75

⇒ 2x = 75 - 15

⇒ 2x = 60

⇒ x = 60/2

⇒ x = 30

Now

  • Breadth of the rectangle = x = 30cm
  • Length of the rectangle = x + 15 = 30 + 15 = 45cm

Hence, the dimensions of the rectangle are 45cm and 30cm.

Answer:

well hello darling! pls mark as brainliest

Step-by-step explanation:

p=150 cm

b=x

l=x+15

perimeter of a rect= 2(l+b)

=2(x+x+15)

=2(2x+15)

150=4x+30

150-30=4x

120=4x

120/4=x

x=30 cm

breadth of the rect= 30cm

l=30+15=45 cm
