Solution :-

Given : The length of a rectangle is 16 m less than two times its breadth.

Perimeter of rectangle = 112 m

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x m

Length = (2x - 16) m

According to the question,

=> Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)

=> 2(2x - 16 + x) = 112

=> 3x - 16 = 112/2

=> 3x = 56 + 16

=> x = 72/3 = 24

Hence,

Length of the rectangle = 2x - 16 = 2 × 24 - 16 = 32 m

Breadth = x = 24 m
