Let the breadth of rectangle be x m
then length = (2x - 16) m
Perimeter = 112m. (given)
We know that,
perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

A/Q,
➡2( x + 2x - 16) = 112
➡ x+ 2x- 16 = 112/2
➡ 3x = (112/2) + 16
➡ 3x = 56 + 16
➡ 3x = 72
➡ x = 24

So breadth = x m = 24 m
& length = (2x -16) = (2*24-16)
➡ 48-16 = 32 m

Hope it will help you !!!
