The length of a rectangle is 17 cm more than its breadth.its perimeter is 234 cm.Find the dimensions of the rectangle

Let the length of the rectangle be x cms.

=>Breadth = x - 17 cms.

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

234 =2(x+x-17)

234 =4x - 34

200 =4x

50 = x

=>Length = 50 cms. Breadth=50-17=33cms.
