Given,

The length of a rectangle is 17cm more than it's breadth.

and the perimeter of rectangle is 134cm.

then, the length and breath of rectangle= ?

Let the breadth of rectangle be 'x'.

The length of rectangle is x+17.

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

134 = 2(x+17+x)

134 = 2(2x+17)

134 = 4x + 34

134-34 = 4x

100 = 4x

x = 100/4

x = 25

Therefore the length of rectangle is x+17 = 25+17 = 42 cm.

and the breadth of rectangle is x = 25cm.

Proof:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

134 = 2(42+25)

134 = 2(67)

134 = 134

L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence proved.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:let breadth of rectangle be x,

Then ,length of rectangle =x+17cm

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length+breadth)

134=2(x+x+17)

134/2=(2x+17)

67=2x+17

67-17=2x

50=2x

X=50/2

x=25

Hence ,breadth of rectangle =x=25cm and length=x+17=25+17=42cm
