Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b) = 110 cm

let the breadth be x and length x + 1

110 = 2(x+x+1)

110 = 2× (2x + 1)

110 = 4x + 2

110 - 2 = 4x

108 / 4 = x

x = breadth = 27 cm

length = x + 1 = 27 + 1 = 28 cm

hope it helps !!

Answer:

Length of the rectangle=28cm

Length of the rectangle=28cmBreadth of the rectangle=27cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

The length of a rectangle is 1cm more than of it's breadth.If perimeter of the rectangle is 110cm

To find:-

find the length and breadth of the rectangle.

Solution:-

Let the breadth of the rectangle="b"cm

Then the length of the rectangle=1 cm more than the breadth=(b+1) cm

Using formula:-

Perimeter of the rectangle when length "l"units and breadth"b" units are given is 2(l+b) units

Perimeter of the rectangle=2(b+1+b)cm

=>P=2(2b+1)cm

=>P=(4b+2 )cm

According to the given problem the perimeter is given by 110cm

=>4b+2=110

=>4b=110-2

=>4b=108

=>b=108/4

=>b=27cm

=>b+1=27+1=28cm

Answer:-

Length of the rectangle=28cm

Breadth of the rectangle=27cm
