Let the breadth be x

Length = x + 1

Perimeter = 18 cm

Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)

18 = 2(x + 1 + x)

18 ÷ 2 = 2x + 1

9 = 2x + 1

2x = 8

x = 4 cm

Length = x + 1 = 4 cm + 1 = 5 cm

Breadth = x = 4 cm
