The length of a rectangle is 2 cm more than its breadth , and its perimeter is 28 cm . Find the length and breadth of the rectangle .

L=b+2
Now,
Perimeter =2(l+b)
28=2(b+2+b)
28=2(2b+2)
28=4b+4
4b=28-4
4b=24
b=24/4=6cm

Now, l=b+2
L=6+2=8cm

length =2x
perimeter=28
We know that perimeter of rectangle is 2(l+b)
then 28=2(2+x +x)=28=4x+x
28=5x
x=5.6
length 7.6
