Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Area of rectangle=120 sq. cm

Now let width be x cm,

so length =x+2cm

to find perimeter we need width so,

Area of rectangle =lxb

i.e 120 =(x) x (x+2)

      120=2x+2; 120-2/2=x; 90= x

:. width is 90 and lenth is 92

now perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)=2(92 + 90)=2x182= 364 cm

:. perimeter of the rectangle is 364 cm.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

l = b+2

Area = 120 cm = l*b

Area = l*b

120 = b+2*b

120 = b^2 +2b

b^2 +2b - 120 = 0

b^2 +12b - 10b -120 = 0.

b(b+12) - 10(b+12) = 0.

(b+12)(b-10) = 0.

b= -12 or b =10.

As breadth cant be negative.

b = 10.

l*b = 120

l * 10 =120.

l = 12 cm.

Perimeter = 2(l+b).

2(12+10) = 2(22) = 44 cm.
