the length of a rectangle is 2 cm more than thrice the breadth of the rectangle. if the length of the rectangle is 17cm, find the perimeter of the rectangle​

Answer:

let's the breadth of rectangle=x

so the length of the rectangle=3x+2

and length is 17cm

so 3x+2=17

3x=17-2

3x=15

x=15/3

x=5

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

=2(17+5)

=2*22

=44cm
