Answer:

let breadth be x

length =3x+2

perimeter =2(l+b)

=2(3x+2+x)

=2(4x+2)

=8x+4

if length increased by 3 new length=3x+5

breadth=x+3

perimeter =2(3x+5+x+3)

=2(4x+8)

=8x+16

According to the question

8x+16=2(8x+4)

=)8x+16=16x+8

=)16-8=16x-8x

=)8=8x

=)x=1

length =5,breadth =1
