the length of a rectangle is 20 cm more than its breadth If the perimeter is 100 cm ,find the dimensionsof the rectangle

Ans: Let breadth be 'b'
=> 2(Length+ Breadth ) = Perimeter
=>2 ( 20 + b+ b)= 100
=> 2 (20 + 2b) = 100
=>40 + 4b = 100
=> 4b = 60
=> b = 15

=>2 (Length + Breadth) = Perimeter
=>2 (l + 15)= 100
=>2l + 30 = 100
=> 2l = 70
=>l = 35

let the breadth be X cm , length=X+20,Acq=2(X+X+20)=100,2x+20=50,2x=30,X=15, length=35cm,breadth=15cm
