The length of a rectangle is 20 %
more than its breath. what will be the ratio of the rectangle to that of a square whose side is equal to the breath of a rectangle.

Let the breadth be x and length=1.2x. So the area of the rectangle=x*1.2x=1.2x^2 .Area of the Square=x*x
=x^2. So the ratio of their areas =1.2x^2/x^2=1.2/1=
6/5=6:5.
