Step-by-step explanation:

let the width be : x

then length will be : 20+ x

perimeter = 100 = 2(l + b)

100= 2(20+x+x)

100=2(20+2x)

100=40+4x

100-40=4x

60=4x

x=60/4 = 15 = x

length = 35

width = 15

Answer:

length =( x+20) cm

breadth = x cm

perimeter given = 100m = 10000cm

now,

2 (x+20+x) = 10000

2(20+2x) = 10000

40+4x = 10000

4x = 9960

x = 2490

so, length = 2510 cm

breadth = 2490 cm
