Given, Length(l) = 25cm
Breadth(b) = 15cm

Perimeter=2(l+b)
=2(25+15)
=2×40
=80cm
Therefore, perimeter of rectangle is 80cm.

Now, it is stated that the perimeter of rectangle is same of the square.

Side of square = 80 ÷ 4
Side = 20 cm

Area of square = side × side
Area = 20× 20
Area of square = 400 cm square.

Hope it helps!
