Let the breadth of the rectangle be x meters

Now,

According to the question,

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2 ( l + b ) = 110 m

or 2 {(x) + (x+27)} = 110

or 2x + 27 = 55

or 2x = 28

x = 14

Now its breadth is 14 m and length is (14+27) m

So the area of the rectangle is,

14 * 41 sq. m

574 sq. m
