Answer:

Let the breadth be x meters

Therefore length = (x +27) meters

Area of rec. =?

Perimeter of rec. = 2(l + b)

110 = 2( x +27 + x)

55 = 2x +27

28 = 2x

x = 14 meters

Therefore length = 14 + 27 = 41 meters

Breadth = 14m

Area of rec. = length X breadth

= 14 x 41 = 574 meters square

Answer = 574m²
