I now multiplied and solved the brackets

4x+6=50

I moved the numbers to the other side of the equation which changed its sign from '+' to '-'

4x=50-6

4x=44

Now I divided 44 by 4

x=44/4

x=11

length formula = x+3

breadth formula=x
