The length of a rectangle is 3 cm more than it's breadth. If the perimeters of the rectangle is 46cm, find the length and the breadth

let breadth= x

let length= x+3

perimeter of rectangle=  2(L + B)

46= 2(x+3+x)

46/2= 2x +3

23= 2x +3

23-3 = 2x

20 = 2x

20/2 =x

10 =x

length= x+3 = 10+3= 13

breadth= x= 10
