Length of rectangle = Y +3 cm
Perimeter of rectangle = 12
2(l+b)=12
y+3+y = 6
2y = 3
y=3/2
breadth of rectangle = y = 3/2
&
length of rectangle = 3+y = 3+3/2=9/2 cm
so,
area of rectangle = 3/2×9/2 = 27/4 cm².
