Let the breadth be 'x'.

Then it's length = x+3

Perimeter= 2(l+b)

=2(x+x+3)

=2(2x+3)

=4x+6=34(given)

4x=28

x=28/4=7m=breadth.

Length=x+3=10m

Area=7x10=70m²

hey there

let the width = x m
therefore length = x + 3 m
and perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( length + width)
and perimeter = 34 m
so 34= 2(x + x +3)
34 = 4x + 6
4x = 28
x= 28/4
x = 7
now length = 7 + 3 =10 m
and width = 3 m.
area of rectangle = length × breadth
= 10 × 3 = 30 m^2
