Let The breadth of the rectangle is x m

So then length of rectangle is x+3 m

Then Perimeter of Rectangle=46cm

Then Perimeter=2 (l×b)

Then 46 = 2(2x+3)

46 = 4x +6

40=4x

Then x=10

Then Length of Rectangle is 13cm

Also Breadth of Rectangle is 10cm...........

Given ,

Perimeter of rectangle = 46 m

Let , the breadth of a rectangle (b) be x

So , the length of a rectangle (l) = 3 + x

We know that , the perimeter of a rectangle is given by

 \green{  \underline{ \sf\large{ \red{ \fbox{ \pink{Perimeter \:  of \:  rectangle   = 2(l + b)}}}}}}

Substitute the values , we obtain

 \sf \hookrightarrow 46 = 2(3 + x + x) \\  \\\sf \hookrightarrow  23 = 3 + 2x \\  \\\sf \hookrightarrow   20 = 2x \\  \\\sf \hookrightarrow  x = 10

Hence , the length and breadth of a rectangle are 13 m & 10 m
