GIVEN THAT:-

Perimeter of rectangle =30cm

Now,

Let the width of the rectangle be x cm .

now,According to question,

length of rectangle=x+3 cm

Now,we know that,

Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

30=2(x+3+x)

30=2(2x+3)

30=4x+6

30-6=4x

24=4x

x=6 cm

Therefore,

Length=x+3=6+3=9 cm

Width=x=6 cm

Hope it helps you........!!!

Answer:

Length is 9 and Width is 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the Width of the rectange be x

So the length is x+3

The foumula of the perimeter is 2(l+b)

The perimeter is 30

Therefore ,

2(x+x+3)=30

2x+3=30/2

2x=15-3

x=12/2

x=6

So the length is 6

And the width is 6+3=9
