The length of a rectangle is 3 more than twice its breadth. If the perimeter is 35 cm. Find the length and breadth.

here is ur answer..
let the breadth = x
length = ( 2x + 3 )
perimeter = 35
2 ( l + b ) = 35
2 (2x + 3 + x ) = 35
2 ( 3x + 6 ) = 35
6x + 6= 35
6x = 35 - 6
6x = 29
x = 29 / 6
x = 4.8
breadth = 4.8cm
length = ( 2 × 4.8 + 3 )
9.6 + 3
12.6cm
