I hope this much will help you

Let the breadth be x and then the lenght =3x

Perimeter =2(l+b)

Perimeter =2(x+3x)

Perimeter/2=4x

84/2=4x

42=4x

21/2 =x

Then length will be 3*21/2=63/2

ak47v: wrong bhai
abhi569: How it is wrong
ak47v: It Is 21 and 63
abhi569: Do you know the formula of perimeter
ak47v: 3 times the other means one is 3x and other is 1x so 3x+1x = 84
abhi569: Yes
abhi569: But the perimeter of rectangle =2(length+breadth)
ak47v: sorry you are right
abhi569: Its ok

Let the breadth be x. Therefor the length is 3x.
B/P,
2(3x+x) = 84
or, 4x = 42
=> x = 42/4
=> 3x = 42/4 ×3
=31.5m (ans)
