the length of a rectangle is 3 times its breadth . if the perimeter is 184, find the area of rectangle.

Your Answer :-

Let the Breadth of The Rectangle be x .

Then ,

Length of the Rectangle will be = 3 x .

 \boxed{A.T.Q.}

We know that ,

Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth )

184 = 2 ( x + 3x )

184 = 8x

x = 23 units .

Then ,

Breadth = 23 unit .

Length = 3 * 23

= 69 .

Then ,

WE know ,

Area of Rectangle = Length * Breadth

= 69 * 23

= 1587 unit^2 .
