The length of a rectangle is 30 cm and its perimeter is equal to the perimeter of a square with side 24 cm.
Find the breadth and area of the rectangle.​

Given :-

Length of rectangle = 30 cm

Side of square = 24 cm

Perimeter of Square = 4a

P = 4 x 24

P = 96 cm

Now, As given in the question that perimeter of square is equal to rectangle.

Perimeter of rectangle = 96 cm

2(l+b) = 96

30 + b = 96/2

b = 48 - 30

b = 18 cm

Now,

Ar(rectangle) = l × b

Ar(rectangle) = 30 x 18 cm²

Ar(rectangle) = 540 cm²
