the length of a rectangle is 30 cm and one of its diagonal measure 34 centimetre find the breadth and perimeter and area of the rectangle

d=34cm
by Pythagoras theorem....
d²=l²+b²
34²=30²+b²
b=16cm.....
ar=l*b=30*16=480cm²....
p=2(l+b)...
p=2*(30+16)...
p=2*46=92cm.....ans....

Length =30cm

Diagonal=34cm

In triangle abc
Using Pythagoras

L²+b²=d ²

30²+b²=34²

B²=34²-30²

B²=1156-900

B²=256

b =  \sqrt{256}

B=16cm

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

=2(30+16)

=2x46

=92cm
