let the breadth be x then,
2(x + x+3) = 34cm
2x + 2x + 6 = 34
4x + 6 = 34
4x = 34 - 6
4x = 28
x = 28/4
x = 7

therefore length = 7 + 3 = 10, breadth = 7.

Let , Breadth of a rectangle =x cm

Length of a rectangle = x + 3cm

perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b )
34 cm = 2(x +3+x ) cm
34 cm = 4x + 6 cm
34cm - 6cm = 4x
28 cm = 4x
x = 28 cm / 4
x = 7 cm
Hence , Length of a rectangle = 7 + 3 = 10 cm
Breadth of a rectangle = 7 cm.
