hey here is your answer

Step-by-step explanation:

so let length of rectangle be x m and width be y m

so now according to first condition

x=2y-3 (1)

now we know that area of rectangle =length × width

according to second condition

65=xy (2)

substitute x ka value from (1) in (2)

we get xy=65

(2y-3)×y=65

ie 2y square -3y-65=0

so 2y square -13y+10y-65=0

ie 2y (y+5)-13 (y+5)=0

ie 2y-13=0 or y+5=0

ie y=13/2 or y=-5

but are dimensions length negative?

nope

hence y=-5 is absurd

y=13/2 is applicable

y=6.5 m

substitute it in (1) w get x=10

hence length is 10 m and breadth is 6.5 m

u can verify by putting values in formed equation
